Science Museum rats bust brackets

WASHINGTON – The Final Four tips off Saturday night, but for some four-legged friends in Virginia, the results are already in.

Four rats went through six months of training ahead of this week’s basketball competition at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond.

Each rat represented one of the four teams who made it all the way in competition on a small court to see which rat could pick up the small orange ball and carry it through the hoop the most.

The rats representing Michigan and Louisville made the title game, with Michigan pulling it out in the end.

Before you risk it all, the Richmond Times- Dispatch reports the rats have only been right once in the five years the museum has held the competition.
