20-year-old killed in NoMa hit-and run

WASHINGTON – D.C. police say a Maryland man died after he fell and was run over by a hit-and-run driver in the NoMa neighborhood.

Police say 20-year-old Darnell Ross of Upper Marlboro, Md., was in a crosswalk in the 100 block of M Street NE when he fell Saturday night and was struck.

The car that ran over him did not stop. Ross was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and looking for the driver.
