Royals rout Giants, force Game 7

WASHINGTON — The Kansas City Royals live another night, forcing a decisive Game 7 in the World Series by beating the San Francisco Giants 10-0 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.

The game was a rout early, as the Royals exploded for seven runs in the second inning against Giants starter Jake Peavy. Meanwhile, Royals starter Yordano Ventura was masterful, allowing only three hits over seven innings.

Game 7 will be held Wednesday night at 8:07 Eastern time in Kansas City.
