Troicki, Kohlschreiber reach semifinals in Vienna

VIENNA (AP) — Viktor Troicki of Serbia beat Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil 7-6 (4), 6-7 (2), 6-2 at the Erste Bank Open on Friday to reach his first semifinal in three years, and fourth-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber defeated fellow German Benjamin Becker 6-4, 7-6 (3).

Troicki, a former No. 12 who returned from a one-year doping suspension in July, saved two set points at 6-5 in the opening set. The Serb lost the second from a break up before hitting eight aces and conceding just three points on serve in the final set.

Troicki will next play either Andy Murray or Jan-Lennard Struff, while Kohlschreiber faces the winner of top-seeded David Ferrer and Ivo Karlovic.
