WASHINGTON – From the kitchen to the man cave, new tech tools can be fun and make life easier.

Popular Science has compiled a list of some of the hottest gadgets available. Take a peek:

The first motion activated kitchen faucet helps cooks keep messy hands to themselves. The Moen MotionSense is turned on or off with a wave of the hand over an infrared sensor on top of the faucet. It costs $400.

Another item Popular Science deems worthy of its 10 hottest gadgets list is a football that can fly 100 yards. The Geospace Fly Max Football costs $40, weighs just 4.4 ounces, has a hollow center and adjustable side fins.

A smart phone case that amplifies a cell phone speaker up to 10 decibels also costs $40. The SmartSound Case has a pop out panel that works like a megaphone. It also functions as a standup kickstand and has the advantage of working without draining a phone’s battery.

The THX Tune-Up app promises perfectly tuned surround sound. The app connects a smartphone to a stereo. It displays where every available speaker should be placed in a room, then sends out test tones to check the placement. It costs $1.99

An app that streams web video onto a TV costs $99. The PLAiR app connects any Wi-Fi enabled device to a TV using a fob called a dongle that plugs into the TV’s HDMI port.

The Samsung T9000 Four-Door Refrigerator costs $4,000, but sports four doors. The bottom right compartment can alternate between being used as a fridge or freezer.
