WASHINGTON - Parents looking to give their baby a boost are buying a special play mat developed by a Maryland physical therapist.
Robin Tacchetti, of Rockville, came up with the "Biddy Belly" to help infants develop their rolling and crawling muscles while laying on their tummies. The contoured mat is made for newborns to babies up to 8 months old.
Tacchetti got an investor in less than 90 seconds after pitching her invention on Anderson Cooper's show. Panelist Daymond John offered $100,000 for a 50 percent share in the company.
