6 arrests made in Manassas homicide

MANASSAS, Va. (AP) — Authorities say a total of six arrests have now been made in the gang-related death of a man whose body was found wrapped in a carpet in Manassas.

Television station WJLA-TV (http://bit.ly/1rrO3DC ) reports five people were arrested Wednesday and another was captured Friday. All six have been charged with murder.

The body of Cesar Benjamin Contreras of Manassas was found Aug. 17 in the dumpster area of the Colonial Village Apartments in the 8900 block of Nicol Lane. Police say he had been stabbed to death.
