WASHINGTON – A Clifton man died in a car crash Monday morning, Fairfax County police say.
Police say Trung Hieu tran, 24, was driving east on Jermantown Road near Borge Street in Oakton about 1:35 a.m.
As he approached a curve in the road, he lost control of his 2006 Acura RSX Coupe, traveled across a grass median and crashed into a tree and then spun around and crashed into a second tree.
Tran was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
