On Monday afternoon, an alleged thief stole two items from the Clarendon Apple Store and fled the scene in a customized BMW coupe.

ROBBERY, 140324046, 2700 block of N. Clarendon Boulevard. On March 24 at 4:10pm, an unknown suspect fled the Apple Store with two items without paying. He fled the scene in a early nineties model dark blue BMW coupe, with a slightly faded bumper and lower body kit. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 35 years old, and was wearing blue jeans, a light grey hooded sweatshirt with a black jacket on top and tan Timberland boots at the time of the incident.
Early Saturday morning, two men at Darna Lounge (946 N. Jackson Street), near Clarendon, allegedly flashed badges and claimed to be police officers.
IMPERSONATING A POLICE OFFICER, 140322003, 900 block of N. Jackson Street. On March 22 at 12:43am, police responded to a report of two bar patrons displaying badges and claiming to be officers. Samuel Wesley Aples, 40, of Alexandria, VA was charged with impersonating a police officer and private security violations. He was held on a $5000 bond. Austin James Jones III, 30, of Woodbridge, VA was charged with private security violations and was released. Both were banned from the establishment.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 140321077, 1600 block of N. Pierce Street. On March 21 at 7:20pm, a suspect was observed masturbating in a park near two female victims. The suspect fled the scene in a light blue pickup truck. The suspect is described as a white male with white hair, between 55-65 years of age, and approximately 5’0″-5’6″ and 220 pounds. At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue hat, beige jacket and blue pants.
BURGLARY, 140324070, 5800 block of N. 20th Street. On March 24 at 11:20pm, police responded to reports of a burglary in progress at residence as witnesses saw a subject entering/exiting the house through a window and fleeing the scene in a Jeep. Police located the vehicle with three subjects inside, along with a four year-old child. Burglarious tools and stolen items from the residence, to include antique silverware and gold coins were in their possession. Nehemiah Guillermo Gonzalez, 30, of Arlington, VA was charged with burglary, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy to commit burglary, and child endangerment. Naomi M. House, 35, of Arlington, VA was charged with burglary in the second degree, conspiracy to commit burglary, and child endangerment. Tara Michelle Lumsden, 30, of Herndon, VA was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, child endangerment, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and driving on a suspended license. They were held without bond. The child was released to a family member.
BURGLARY, 140319028, 2300 block of S. 24th Road. On March 19 at 12:00pm, police responded to report of a burglary at an apartment complex. There were signs of forced entry and it was discovered a ring and laptop were missing from the residence. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 140321036, 2200 block of N. Clarendon Boulevard. On March 21 between 7:00 and 10:00am, an unknown subject(s) entered a victim’s apartment and stole various. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 140322071, 5800 block of N. 20th Street. Between 6:30 and 8:38 pm on March 22, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole antique silver items. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 140324054, 2300 block of S. 25th Street. On March 24 at 5:40pm, a victim reported that between March 4 and March 13 someone entered her apartment and stole jewelry and medications. There is no suspect(s) description.
