WASHINGTON - Imbibing a glass of bubbly is now as easy as pressing a button with the introduction of a new line of Champagne vending machines.
Champagne producer Moet & Chandon is introducing its Champagne vending machines at Selfridges department stores in England, according to New York Magazine's Grub Street. The tiny bottles cost $29 each.
The vending machine is an accessible and appealing way to quench the thirst of "entry-level holiday shoppers," according to Luxury Daily.
However, the 200 milliliters in the bottle are barely enough to fill a glass-and-a-half by restaurant standards, Grub Street notes.
There is no word on if Moet & Chandon plan to extend the vending machines to the United States.
