WASHINGTON — The joke is on the Nats. The team’s 2016 calendar doesn’t feature Nationals Park. It’s Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox.

The calendar features the 2015 home opener for the Red Sox. Yes, the team was playing the Nats that day.
It turns out the Nationals actually didn’t have anything to do with putting the calendar together.
But Major League Baseball did issue a statement.
“Our licensee used an incorrect photo in its 2016 Nationals calendar, a product that the Nationals were not involved in producing,” Major League Baseball said in a statement to The Boston Globe.
“We are working quickly to rectify the situation including recalling the calendars from retail.”
The error was first pointed out by NPR Digital News Editor Susan Vavrick.
