WASHINGTON — Winning a car is the best part of “The Price is Right.” But usually it’s the contestant’s right answers, not the model’s wrong moves, that get them the keys.
After contestant Andrea guessed the wrong price of a Hyundai Sonata during a recent taping, model Manuela Areblaez removed the tag from the board.
But then she also removed the winning price tag. Which, naturally, ended the game. Embarassed, Areblaez quickly covered her face and hid behind the game board.
Host Drew Carey, always the good sport, immediately told the contestant that she won the car despite Areblaez’s mistake. And anyone concerned about the model’s costly mistake needn’t worry. She tweeted that both Drew Carey and the show’s producers were “supportive and understanding.”
