WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump announced his nominee to fill the seat of retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy Monday night.
Federal appeals court Judge Brett Kavanaugh is Trump’s pick to replace Kennedy in the Supreme Court.
Trump spent the weekend mulling over the top contenders, and tweeted on Sunday that an “exceptional person will be chosen!”
