Step Forward to Cure TSC National Walk

Sunday, May 5
Constitution Gardens

The annual Step Forward to Cure TSC National Walk on the Mall is Sunday, May 5, at Constitution Gardens.  Registration check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.  This walk will make an impact on the lives of those living with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and also fund research into cures for other diseases like epilepsy, autism and cancer.

Affecting 50,000 in the U.S. and 1 million worldwide, TSC is a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in vital organs, like the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs.  It’s also the leading genetic cause of both autism and epilepsy.

This year’s theme for the Step Forward to Cure TSC National Walk on the Mall continues to salute our Super Heroes. Come as you are, or have fun and break out the cape and mask!  Everyone is encouraged to participate dressed up like their favorite hero.

Register online at www.StepForwardtoCureTSC.org.  Learn more about TSC and support the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance at www.tsalliance.org.
