The most expensive residential real estate sale in the Washington region in June sold for $6.1 million, and real estate company Zillow calls it the "Best Value in Kalorama."
WASHINGTON — The most expensive residential real estate sale in the Washington region in June sold for $6.1 million, and its Zillow listing had been marketing it as the “Best value in Kalorama!”
The seven-bedroom, nine-bath home at 2425 Tracy Place NW in Washington, D.C., is just a half-block up the street from the home Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are renting.
The home, built in 1952 and remodeled in 1990, includes about 8,500-square-feet of living space, a three-story spiral staircase, pool, elevator and parking for five cars. It sold for $895,000 less than its most recent list price of $6.995 million, according to listing services Bright MLS Inc.
Half of the 10 most expensive residential sales in the Washington metro in June were in the District, three were in McLean, Virginia, and one each were in Great Falls and Alexandria, also in Virginia.
