The curious case of Lamar Jackson and what to expect from Terps’ tournament run

As expected, Lamar Jackson was franchised tagged in Baltimore — but it was mildly surprising that the Ravens used the non-exclusive franchise tag, which gives the rest of the NFL the chance to negotiate a long-term contract with the former MVP quarterback as well. The WTOP Sports team discusses the curious lack of leaguewide interest in acquiring Jackson and whether the Washington Commanders should break ranks and make a deal for the electric QB.
Also inside the D.C. Sports Huddle presented by MGM National Harbor: We further discuss the new format for sports on-air at WTOP, what to expect from Maryland in the Big Ten tournament and what Dave has gleaned from his tour de force at various conference tournaments across the region!
