After close to a year of trying, Senate Democrats believe they are poised to pass a major new economic plan addressing issues including climate change, energy and health care. The Senate will be working through the weekend as lawmakers try to reach a final vote through budget reconciliation, which would allow Democrats to pass the bill without any Republican support.
