When an international superstar says she went swimming in the Potomac River, D.C. takes notice. The singer Lorde recently told fans that she took a dip in the nation’s river to get a feel for the city. WTOP’s Neal Augenstein, who has been covering water issues in our area and is a musician himself, tells us why it got such a gushing reaction.
