Gov. Hogan makes it easier to carry a concealed gun

There is a new directive in Maryland when it comes to carrying a gun. Governor Larry Hogan issued a directive for the Maryland State Police to essentially ignore a law on the books that restricts ‘concealed carry’ in the state. We talk to Dr. Cassandra Crifasi, the Deputy Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Prevention and Policy, about what this means for Maryland. And, 14 climate protesters set back hundreds of holiday drivers when they shut down the inner loop of the beltway for more than an hour on Monday. WTOP Traffic Reporter Dave Dildine tells us what happened and that it might happen again later this week.
