MediWound: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

YAVNE, Israel (AP) — YAVNE, Israel (AP) — MediWound Ltd. (MDWD) on Thursday reported a loss of $7.4 million in its second quarter.

The Yavne, Israel-based company said it had a loss of 77 cents per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 76 cents per share.

The developer of treatments for burns and hard-to-heal wounds posted revenue of $3.1 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.6 million.

MediWound expects full-year revenue in the range of $24 million to $26 million.
