On a per-share basis, the San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 32 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 11 cents per share.
The media software company posted revenue of $105.9 million in the period.
Xperi expects full-year revenue in the range of $440 million to $460 million.
