On a per-share basis, the Sylmar, California-based company said it had profit of 38 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.41 per share.
The construction company posted revenue of $1.37 billion in the period.
Tutor Perini expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.65 to $3.95 per share.
