On a per-share basis, the Reston, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 74 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.43 per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.44 per share.
The information technology company posted revenue of $1.74 billion in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.64 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $477 million, or $8.88 per share. Revenue was reported as $7.44 billion.
SAIC expects full-year earnings in the range of $8 to $8.20 per share, with revenue in the range of $7.35 billion to $7.5 billion.
