One of the Washington Wizards’ new players is making himself at home in Potomac.
Shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope recently closed on the purchase of a home in Potomac for $4.9 million, according to deed records. The property was originally listed for $5.9 million by sellers Ali and Darya Niroo, according to the listing and deed records.
The 11,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms and six full baths and two half-baths and sits on a little more than 1 acre. The sale is the highest price paid for a 1-acre lot in Potomac to date, according to Daniel Heider of Heider Real Estate/TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, who listed the property. It had been on the market since March and sold in early October. Jill Schwartz of RLAH Real Estate represented Caldwell-Pope.
