Falls Church building fetches $47M; 14th Street restaurant buys its home

One of Falls Church’s major office buildings has traded owners. Dallas-based Velocis has sold the 194,644-square-foot office building 3120 Fairview Park Drive to an affiliate of New York-based Admiral Capital Group for $47 million, according to public records.

That comes just four and a half years after Velocis bought it for $39 million, records show. The company undertook some renovations to the building in the meantime alongside its partner Moore & Associates, which leases and manages the building. Velocis said in a statement that 3120 Fairview Park was part of a portfolio sale that included properties in Georgia and Arizona as well.
