Food Specials
Stop by the following restaurants and bars for special events and special menu items.
Arby’s. For a limited time, order the Mint Chocolate Shake. Festively green, it’s topped with Andes candy pieces.
Bar Louie. If you can’t celebrate at a local Irish pub, check whether there’s a Bar Louie nearby. The chain has more than 130 locations nationwide, and most of them are throwing Unleash Your Leprechaun celebrations on March 17. These parties will include green beer and Jameson specials all day, plus live entertainment at select locations. Visit Bar Louie’s website and select your location to find out how it’s celebrating.
Baskin-Robbins. Participating locations will be giving out free samples of the Mint Chip ‘n Oreo Cookies Milkshake on St. Patrick’s Day.
Bennigan’s. The Irish-themed restaurant is celebrating the entire month of March. Its Blarney Blast event offers limited-time menu items, including corned beef and cabbage and a burger glazed with The Irishman Founder’s Reserve Whiskey. Drink specials, including Irish Mules and tableside Irish coffee, will also be on offer.

Chili’s. If Guinness isn’t really your thing, Chili’s has a margarita option for you. The Lucky Jameson (an Irish twist on the margarita) is made with Jameson whiskey and is available for $5 during the month of March.
Fuddruckers. For March only, Fuddruckers presents the Mint Chocolate Chip Shake. The mint ice cream gives it that sought-after green color, and it’s topped with whipped cream and candy crumbles.
Krispy Kreme. The Original Glazed Donut is getting a green dye-job on March 16 and 17.
McDonald’s. The beloved Shamrock Shake is well established as a March tradition. It’s back again for 2018, and 25 cents from every Shamrock Shake sold through March 19 will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Mrs. Fields. Send your love to a lucky recipient in the form of a cookie delivery. Mrs. Fields is offering 17 percent off sitewide through St. Patrick’s Day with coupon code LUCK17. This promo includes St. Patrick’s Day goodies like shamrock-shaped cookies, green-frosted cookie cakes and brownies sent in a green tin box.
Ruby’s Diner. The shake of the month for March is the Grasshopper shake. It’s green (thanks to the mint ice cream) and is blended with Oreo cookie crumbs.

From deals on party supplies to discounts on trips to the Emerald Isle, retailers are participating in the St. Patrick’s Day hype.
While there are some great deals leading up to March 17, consider waiting until March 18 to buy green party supplies and accessories and saving them for next year. Stores deeply discount specialty items immediately after holidays, and St. Patrick’s Day is no different. Expect 70 percent off or more the day after the green beer stops flowing.
Claire’s. Green and shamrock-shaped accessories, including earrings, false nails, beads and more are 50 percent off leading into St. Patrick’s Day.
Groupon. Does St. Patrick’s Day have you dreaming of Ireland? Groupon’s travel site, called Groupon Getaways, is offering 30 percent off an eight-day vacation package to the Emerald Isle if you book through March 23.
