WASHINGTON — Those looking for a new job in the new year might want to try a
few
specific industries that consistently have the most openings.
Certain jobs are posted far more than others, and the top jobs for
2015
were determined by CareerBuilder
and
Economic Modeling Specialists
Intel (EMSI)
by the rate at which workers are being hired compared with the
frequency and volume of the positions being advertised — in short, which
industries have the most openings.
“By drawing attention to talent deficits, our list underscores opportunities
in
everything from technology and health care to sales and transportation for job
seekers looking to make a change,” says Matt Ferguson, CEO of CareerBuilder.
A network and computer system administrator could make $75,000 a year.
CareerBuilder
shows half of those jobs posted each month aren’t filled. But the in-demand
positions aren’t all computer-related: Medical and health services managers
and physical therapists are also wanted.
More than a million people took a job as a truck driver last year, but 110,000
positions still go unfilled each month, CareerBuilder finds. Sales
representatives, orderlies and medical records technicians are in demand, as
are
sales managers, speech pathologists and software developers.
The list of jobs which see the most positions posted are as follows.

- Marketing executive
- Software developer, applications
