WASHINGTON – There’s good news for fans of the “Jurassic Park” films. The
first
trailer has been released for the fourth movie in the series, “Jurassic
World.”
As the trailer unfolds, it becomes clear that John Hammond’s fantasy of a true
dinosaur theme park has come true, complete with a Seaworld-esque
performance. There’s a rail system, boat trips down a lush river, and
safari-style excursions among the park’s creatures.
“Jurassic World” stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, as
well as a genetically-modified dinosaur.
“She’s a highly intelligent animal… She’ll kill anything that moves,”
Pratt’s
character, Owen, warns in the trailer as it becomes clear that the park is
unraveling. We don’t get to see the dinosaur, but viewers do get a peek at a
long, pointy tooth and its menacing shadow.
Some inaccuracies featured in the trailer have already set off critics across
the Internet, particularly over the appearance of a fly trapped in amber,
rather than a mosquito.
“Jurassic World” is
scheduled to open June 12, 2015.
