FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) — Fairfax County police are investigating a hit and run in the Falls Church area that left one man dead on Friday night.
Police say they responded to a report of a crash on Wilson Boulevard at around 9 p.m. When they arrived, police determined that a scooter operated by 36-year-old Eliseo Hernandez Diaz had been struck by a Volkswagen sedan that was found abandoned near the crash site. Police say Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say no charges have been filed and that the investigation is ongoing.
