WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) — Authorities at McDaniel College in Westminster say a female student was assaulted while walking on campus.
The Department of Campus Safety said in an email to students on Sunday that the woman was grabbed from behind and fondled around 1:40 a.m. on the campus quad.
The woman was uninjured in the incident. Westminster police are assisting campus police with the investigation. A suspect has not been identified.
Students are advised to be aware of their surroundings and avoid walking alone, especially if they’ve been drinking.
