LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Clippers have waived forward Joe Ingles a month after signing him, reducing their roster to 15 players.
Ingles appeared in five preseason games, including one start, and averaged 1.2 points and 1.0 rebounds.
The Australian impressed at this summer’s Basketball World Cup after playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Premier League last season.
Los Angeles announced the move on Saturday.
The Clippers open the season at home Thursday against Oklahoma City.
