CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Bears will be without four starters against the Panthers: left tackle Jermon Bushrod, center Roberto Garza, linebacker Shea MClellin and defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff.
Michael Ola will start at left tackle, with Matt Slauson taking over at left guard. Brian de la Puente starts for Garza and Jonathan Bostic for McClellin. Chicago’s other inactives include cornerback Sherrick McManis, safety Ahmad Dixon and offensive tackle Charles Leno.
The Panthers are dealing with a host of injury problems in the backfield and will be without running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, and fullback Richie Brockel.
Carolina’s other inactives include quarterback Joe Webb, safety Tre Boston, linebacker D.J. Smith, offensive lineman Andrew Norwell.
Bears defensive end Jared Allen and Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson are active.
