BALTIMORE (AP) — The Carolina Panthers have placed linebacker Thomas Davis and running back Jonathan Stewart on the inactive list for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Davis saw limited action in practice because of a hip injury. He ranks second on the Panthers with 30 tackles.
Stewart has been bothered by a sore knee. DeAngelo Williams is expected to start.
Carolina also has placed running back Fozzy Whittaker on the inactive list, along with safety Tre Boston and guard Andrew Norwell.
The Ravens’ inactives include cornerback Lardarius Webb, who has been bothered by a back injury since the preseason.
Baltimore also place left tackle Eugene Monroe and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan on the inactive list. Monroe recently had knee surgery and will be replaced by rookie James Hurst.
