WASHINGTON — He’s wanted for sexually assaulting a young woman at a local pool and police officers are hoping you can help find him.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was working Friday at a community pool in the Yarling Court area of Falls Church near Lee Highway. According to police, she was assaulted around 7 p.m.
“A man approached her at the counter [and] struck up a conversation,” says Officer Shelley Broderick with Fairfax County Police. “During that conversation, he allegedly displayed a weapon, sexually assaulted her and fled.”
Officer Broderick describes the suspect as a 5’10” white man in his late 20s or early 30s, clean shaven with a medium build. The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
