WASHINGTON — The wind might feel a bit devious and bittersweet this weekend, for no other reason than Netflix’s intense political drama “House of Cards” is coming to town on Saturday.
The Baltimore-based series’ top stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright won’t be along for the ride, but the show’s production team will be filming a mock motorcade scene between noon and 10 p.m., as well as b-roll footage of D.C. notable landmarks.

According to Politico, the filming will take place along Pennsylvania Avenue, Constitution Avenue and Independence Avenue “and could cause traffic jams for D.C. residents, who endured congested streets during this week’s U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit.”
