RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A manufacturer of coating spray applications for the aircraft and turbine parts coating industry is planning to invest $2.5 million to expand its operations in Grayson County.
Gov. Terry McAuliffe said Monday that Hansen Turbine’s plans for sister company Falcon Turbine to relocate from North Carolina will create 25 jobs.
Officials say Hansen Turbine is a privately owned company specializing in turbine component manufacturing and coating.
McAuliffe approved a $50,000 grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund for the project. The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission also approved $105,000 in funding.
