A water main break has caused officials to close roads in downtown
Silver Spring, Maryland Monday morning.
WASHINGTON — A water main break has caused officials to close a road in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.
The water main break closed Linden Lane between Brookeville Road and Monroe Street Sunday evening and Monday morning.
Montgomery County police say Linden Lane will likely be back open some time Tuesday.
Crews began repairing the 10-inch pipe around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Washington Gas is at the scene fixing a gas line as well.
