McHENRY, Md. (AP) — Top paddlers from four countries are practicing on a western Maryland whitewater course for the Canoe Slalom World Championships to be held there in September.
Friday’s training schedule in McHenry features kayakers and canoeists from the United States, France, Slovakia and Great Britain.
They’re training at Adventure Sports Center International near the Wisp ski resort. The world championships will be held on the man-made course from Sept. 17-21.
