WASHINGTON — Montgomery County police say they are investigating a shooting that occurred in Silver Spring Tuesday night.
Police foundthe victim along Bradford Road between Hartwell Road and Plymouth Street.
Montgomery County police say the man was conscious and taken to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
There’s no word on what led to the shooting, but police exploring possibility that it is not a random event.
Police say there were witnesses who saw a dark-colored vehicle approach the victim in the street. They heard gunshots and saw the vehicle flee the scene, police say.
