In all, 6.6 million viewers tuned into “Game of Thrones” Sunday night on HBO, the most viewers the network has had since the Sopranos finale in 2007.

While the excitement was high during the show, the tweets really picked up after the episode was over when HBO Go wouldn’t load for many eager viewers.
HBO GO is playing with my emotions right now please just load Game of Thrones 🙏

So, like, at least 90 percent of the people trying to watch HBO GO instead of watching GOT on TV are using somebody else's login, right?

Looks like there's trouble in the realm. Apologies for the inconvenience. We'll be providing updates, so please stay tuned. #GameofThrones

HBO got the problem resolved by 1 a.m. There were likely many sleep deprived “Game of Thrones” viewers at work Monday.
