WASHINGTON — In honor of Jackie Robinson Day, baseball players across Major League Baseball are wearing the number 42. The number, now retired, was Robinson’s number when he played for the Dodgers.
The anniversary, April 15, marks Opening Day in 1947, Robinson’s first season in the major leagues. And even Siri is getting in the spirit to honor the anniversary.
When asked, “Siri, what’s the Washington Nationals’ roster?” she responds with the roster — showing every single Nationals player with the number 42.
Way to get into the spirit, Siri.
