WASHINGTON — Gatorade’s new commercial for the “Fierce” line lives up to its name.
According to a recent ad, “Gatorade Fierce is bold, intense and relentless.”
Of course, the commercial is nothing less.
Set to “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses, the commercial starts with a Gatorade bottle that explodes into a baseball stadium.
The 30-second add features Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals hitting a blast off of an unnamed Marlins pitcher following a fiery stare down, while both players are emitting what looks like flames of Gatorade.
As the ball sails out of the stadium, it morphs into Harper’s screaming face and then his body, as he runs the bases. The commercial finishes with the “win from within” slogan.
