WASHINGTON — The all-female country-rock quartet Antigone Rising performs Saturday night at Jammin Java.
The band is promoting its latest release, “Whiskey and Wine,” which features their signature three-part harmonies and excellent alt-country chops.

Also scheduled for Saturday, at the 9:30 Club, is The Revivalists.
The New Orleans-based group draws influence from classic rock ‘n’ roll. They have two horn players in the lineup but don’t shy away from taking a modern approach to their songwriting and performing.
