WASHINGTON – Police in Charles County are looking for a man caught on camera stealing packages from a Hughesville neighborhood.
Police say the man has stolen UPS packages from the front porches of two homes in the Lake Jameson area. They were stolen about 15 minutes after a UPS employee left the packages Monday afternoon.
Surveillance video caught the man taking a package and driving off in an older light-colored Nissan Altima at one of the two homes.
Police describe the thief as a man with a dark complexion, possibly in his 20s with short dreadlocks. He wore a black skull cap and black prescription-style glasses.
Officials ask anyone with information about the man’s identity or the crime to call 301-609-6507. Police are offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to his arrest.
