WASHINGTON — Beef recalled this year from a California meat producer may have reached 35 states and Guam, according to a CNN report.
CNN, which cites the U.S. Department of Agriculture, names Rancho Feeding Corp., of Petaluma, Calif., as the meat producer.
“The retail list has been growing as more customers have been notified,” USDA spokesman Adam Tarr told CNN Friday. “The list could expand.”
In February, Rancho had to recall 8.7 million pounds of meat products; a month earlier, the company recalled more than 40,000 pounds of meat products.
