WASHINGTON — No one wants to be bitten by a shark, but in some places around the world, the tragic attacks can happen. Now, though, there may be a new way to prevent shark attacks.
Thedodo.com reports that Shark Attack Mitigation Systems has created two new swimsuits that can reduce the probability of an attack.
Both these suits have unique patterns that serve different functions: One suit redirects the shark’s vision; the other suit hides the swimmer in the water.
These suits were developed and tested in West Australia with the aim of putting an end to the culling of sharks in that area.
