WASHINGTON – The light snow will come to an end Sunday evening as skies partially clear. The overnight lows will be in the 20s with winds coming out of the northwest. But brighter skies are in the forecast both Monday and Tuesday when highs will reach the 30s.
The forecast becomes a bit blurry late Wednesday and into Thursday when there could be a return of light to moderate snow, sleet and rain or a more substantial coastal storm.
According to ABC 7/WTOP Weather Center, the bottom line concerning local weather in the week ahead is: At this point “it is impossible to say we are going to have a whopper of a storm or for that matter, nothing at all. Something is definitely brewing, but where and exactly when is still up in the air. No pun intended.”
