WASHINGTON – Police in Herndon are investigating the death of a man found in a creek Friday morning.
A resident called police about 8 a.m. Friday to report that a body appeared to be in the creek near Center and Locust streets.
Police say the adult man’s cause of death remains under investigation but foul play is not suspected. Police did not release the man’s name.
Anyone who may have heard or saw something in the area of Locust and Center streets between midnight and 8 a.m. Friday is asked to called Herndon police Sgt. Thompson at 703-435-6881 ext. 2332 or Detective Diaz at 703-435-2990.
