Bargain shoe retailer DSW will be among the tenants at the revamped Shops at Georgetown Park, joining T.J. Maxx/Home Goods, H&M, J. Crew and the soon-to-open Pinstripes bowling alley, bar and grill.
DSW has executed a lease at the Georgetown mall, according to Ryan Wilner, a principal with KLNB Retail that represented the tenant. The owner of the Shops at Georgetown Park, Vornado Realty Trust, did not return calls for comment on the lease.
No word yet on when the store is aiming to open; no buildout permit has yet been issued. The Georgetown DSW will be the third in the District; the others are located at the DC USA shopping center in Columbia Heights and on Wisconsin Avenue in Friendship Heights.
Vornado has been renovating Georgetown Park for much of the past year. A combined T.J. Maxx/Home Goods opened in August, and Pinstripes, the bowling alley and restaurant that is taking 34,000 square feet of the mall’s lower level, is expected to open later this month.
H&M opened in its new space in the mall in November.
