November 29 through January 5, Arena Stage is presenting Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner starring Malcolm-Jamal Warner…and RIGHT NOW, WTOP and Arena Stage are teaming up to help serve dinner to the hungry in our community this holiday season with a Virtual Food Drive to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank
Many of the Capital Area Food Bank’s 500 partner agencies report they are seeing a tremendous increase in those seeking food assistance, from 30 to 100 percent. This increase is due to: job loss, the economy, high cost of housing, lack of health care and other issues…but You can help!
It only takes a few moments to help the hungry in our community this holiday season – donating virtually is quick, easy, green, and allows the food bank to buy the fresh food and produce that is needed the most. You can choose the products you want you donation to pay for, or simply make a general monetary donation- every bit helps!
